Verna Edith Aschauer Obituary

(nee Wackman) Went home to be with her Savior on June 13, 2023 after a 6 year courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was born on March 20, 1942 at the War Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan to the late John F. Wackman II and Veronica E. Wackman (nee Dumbeck). She was preceded in death by Wayne C. Aschauer, the love of her life, whom she was married to for 58 years. She is survived by their two children, Jeffrey (Mary) Aschauer and Cheryl (David) Aschauer Baum. Four grandchildren, Melanie (Chad) Reinhard, Curtis Aschauer, Madalynne Baum, and Antonio Baum. Five great-grandchildren, Xavier, Asher, Vivian, Caleb, and Clara. Verna is also survived by an uncle, siblings, nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday June 19 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 10 AM until the time of the Service at 12:45 PM. Procession to Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milwaukee immediately following the service.
