Dean Michael Schneider Obituary

Dean Michael Schneider, age 55, born on August 3, 1970, son of Raymond and Veronica Schneider, was born to eternal life on December 19, 2025.

Dean is further survived by his brother, Kurt, his niece, Megan, and his Uncles and Aunts, Josephine Govek, Paul and Ann Govek, Robert and Alice Schneider, Jim and Leah Schneider, Peter and Cathy Schneider, Karl and Marian Kaufman, and Philip and Bonnie Schneider, and forty-seven First Cousins, and many friends.

Dean was preceded in death by his Uncles, Joseph and Richard Govek, and his Aunt, Dorothy Govek.

On March 18, 1989, while in his dorm room in Winona, MN, he suffered a major brain hemorrhage and was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN, where he stayed for one month. After that, he was transported by ambulance to Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Hospital in Milwaukee.

After his rehabilitation, Dean developed a love for nature and enjoyed walking in parks and hiking in the mountains. Dean was also a devoted sports fan and took pleasure in watching the Brewers, Bucks, and Packers. He also enjoyed reading and creating pencil drawings.

Dean was a graduate of Homestead High School and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 9, at 12:00 p.m. at Lumen Christi Catholic Church in Mequon, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.

Dean will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
