As Dolores departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dolores may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dolores leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Howard Gaertig (Audrey), Roger Gaertig (Kathy), Milton Gaertig and Joyce Hanson. She is survived by: her husband Peter T. Nelson; her children, Tim Nelson and Wendy Conklin (Chris); her grandchildren, Tiernan, Gaelan and Brendan; and her brother-in-law John A. Nelson (Susie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
