He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Gwidt and Ione Gwidt; his siblings, Dennis Gwidt (Tracy Adams) and Mary Lynn Gwidt; his nephew Jeffrey Gwidt; and his brother-in-law Jerry Pawelczyk.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Mequon; his sons, Mark Gwidt (Kristen) of Cedarburg and Kevin Gwidt of Port Washington; his grandchildren, Catherine, Brigid, Charles and Sarah; his siblings, Patricia Gwidt, Susan Kapla (Tom), Tom Gwidt (Patrice), Mike Gwidt (Theresa), Tim Gwidt and Steve Gwidt (Lynn); and his brother-in-law Jerry Wittwer (Elizabeth). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crossroads Presbyterian Church (6031 W Chapel Hill Rd, Mequon, WI 53097). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gary's name may be directed to Habitat for Humanity or Crossroads Presbyterian Church.
