With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Lawless Armbruster (Mequon, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Armbruster; and her son Patrick (Jessica). She is survived by: her sons, Timothy (Leilani) and Michael (Lisa); her stepchildren, Gregor (Ann Marie), Christopher (Sonia) and Heidi (George); and her grandchildren, Clare, Grace, Jordan, Dunning, MacKenzie, Kaelyn, Margot, Niels, Sander, Ben, John, Maria and Peter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Lumen Christi Catholic Church (2750 W Mequon Rd, Mequon, WI 53092). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Funeral Mass: 11:00am, Reception to follow, location to be announced, In lieu of flowers, donations to The Christ Child Society (https://christchildmilwaukee.org).
