Marilyn J. Ertel Obituary
Age 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 29, 2026, in Grand Chute, Wisconsin.
Marilyn was born on July 14, 1931, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Throughout her life, Marilyn treasured time spent with her family and created many special memories with those she loved. She especially enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing softball, and spending time at the family cottage on Shawano Lake. Marilyn was also an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Sandy Ertel, Cindy Neitzke, and Terri Peaslee; her grandchildren, Amy Rivera (Adan), Zach Neitzke, Connor Peaslee, and Taylor Peaslee; and her great-grandchildren, Eliana, Jax, Esmee and Brooklynn. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Ertel.
Marilyn's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Helen's House in Grand Chute for the compassionate care, kindness, and support provided to Marilyn.
Marilyn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026 at the Funeral Home from 11 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 1 PM. Burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery.
