Randal Jerome Eidenberger Obituary

Loving husband to Lina Vita Lim Eidenberger, loving father to Alyssa and Andrew Eidenberger, and proud brother to Tyler Eidenberger. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Jerome Eidenberger, and Sue Eidenberger (King), and younger sister Eileen Eidenberger.

Randy lived a fulfilling and purpose filled life, and was deeply loved and admired by his family, friends, and his dogs Johnny, Cash, and Grant. Randy dedicated his life to public service where he worked for Milwaukee County for the entirety of his professional career, working with at risk youth as a social worker and juvenile probation officer. After retiring from Milwaukee County, he continued to serve his community by substitute teaching at Milwaukee Public Schools and also giving young people in the neighborhood an opportunity to work whether it be shoveling snow or doing yard work at his home.

Randy had a quiet, kind, and calming nature. He was introspective with himself and compassionate with others. He truly cared about positively impacting others through his actions. He took great pride in taking care of his family and being there for them when they needed him most. Throughout his life, he maintained old friendships and was always excited to make new ones. He deeply valued his relationships with his friends and family.

As a child and young man, Randy enjoyed playing sports, being with friends, traveling, and getting into a little bit of trouble every now and then. As he aged, Randy enjoyed the simple blessings in life, such as walking his dogs, working out, going to church, listening to the radio outside, and watching old movies. Randy was a Wisconsin sports fan, who enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers. However, his favorite athletes were his children, where he attended almost every game cheering them on.

A funeral service for Randy will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home (10280 N Port Washington Rd, Mequon, WI 53092). Visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm, with a service starting at 1:00pm.
