With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sheldon Papenfus in Mequon, Wisconsin, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Papenfus and Marcelite Papenfus; his brother Ned Papenfus; and his nephew Eric Papenfus. He is survived by: his wife Penny Papenfus; his children, Tracey Elbe (Chris) and Amy-Jo Ladwig (Craig); his grandchildren, Ryan Elbe, Kimberly Saari (Mitch), Matthew Elbe, Kyle Elbe, Jaden Papenfus, Bryce Ladwig, Evan and Brianna Ladwig; his great grandchildren, Lane, Callie and Blake Saari; his niece Michelle; and his cousins, Carol Benning and James Zane. He is also survived by other relatives, and a wide circle of friends.
