He was predeceased by: his stepmother Joan Gerdes. He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his children, Allison Wandrey (Michael, Jr.) and Kimberly Gerdes (Mitchell Mortimer); his grandsons, Matthew Wandrey and Luke Wandrey; his sister Gwen Petersen (Dennis); and his stepsiblings, Nancy Cefalu (Steven) and Jeff Pilson (Ravinder).
