With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert C. Herdt of Merrill, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 19, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herdt and Marie Herdt (Reichert); his wife Dawn Herdt; his daughter-in-law Phyllis Herdt; his siblings, Molly, Marie, Esther, Lydia, Raymond, Herman, Benjamin, Alex, Edward and John Jr.; and his friends, Fuzzy Dittmar and Earl Dittmar.
He is survived by: his children, Sheri Naef (Herbert) of Merrill, Lori Thom (Gary) of Merrill and Shane Herdt Sr. of Merrill; his grandchildren, Nathan Naef (Andrea), Clinton Naef, Jonathon Thom (Jennifer Mohr), Joshua Thom (Tina), Corey Herdt, Kimberley Maluegge (Luke) and Shane Herdt, Jr. (Tara); his stepgrandchildren, Shannon Jaeger (Stephanie) and Bill Jaeger (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Alexander, Zachary, Brayden, Benjamin, Ashton, Cameron, Skylar, Madilyn, Holden, Mackenzie and Archer; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Emma and Evan; and his brothers, Ervin Herdt of Merrill and Paul Herdt (Diane) of Washington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
