We announce the death of Betty M. Severt of Merrill, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 31, 2026, at the age of 91. Betty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Betty will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Betty’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Horgen and Dorothy Horgen (Kurth); and her spouse Gordon'Chub'Severt. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Benolken (Ted) of Otsego, MN, Cindy Vachavake (Todd Rolaff) of Schofield, Greg Severt (Kaye) of Florida, James Severt of Merrill, Jeff Severt (Jackie) of Boise, ID and Todd Severt of Merrill; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Severt of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; five step grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren.
