With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol June Wendt of Merrill, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol June Wendt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter C. Kasten and Leona A. Kasten (Bonke); her husband Kurt; her granddaughter Keana Wendt; and her daughter-in-law Charlotte Wendt.

She is survived by : her sons, Brian Wendt of Medford, WI, Bruce Wendt of Merrill, WI, Kevin Wendt (Dana) of Merrill, WI and Darin Wendt (Jennifer) of Hortonville, WI.; her grandchildren, Tyler Wendt (Danielle), Bryson Wendt (Dannielle "Shorty"), Alexa Wendt and Colin Wendt; her great grandchild Koda Wendt; and her close friend Kitty Moore.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (107 N State St, Merrill, WI 54452). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Carol's memory be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church or School or the T.B. Scott Library in Merrill because of the great love she had for her church and a good book.
