He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Schroeder and Evelyn Schroeder; his stepfather Ted Jaeger; his sister Elfrieda Schroeder; and his brother-in-law Bob Turner.
He is survived by: his sisters, Beverly Zabawa (Don) and Kathy Turner; his niece Sue Finnegan (Tim); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chelsey Gieseler (Adam) and Mitch Finnegan.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery (201 N Memorial Dr, Merrill, WI 54452).
The family asks that any memorials be given to the Lincoln County Humane Society or a charity of your choosing.
