She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold (Genevieve Ruprecht) and Merrill; her former life partner Chuck; her sons, Mark and David; and her grandson Jon Manthei.
She is survived by : her pet Popeye II; her children, Jeffrey Eckerle (Marilyn), Kathy Badeau, Connie Russell (Robert) and Marsha Eckerle; her grandchildren, Matthew Badeau, Jacob Spanaus (Kristen), Missy Kanitz (Walter), Kristina Ebben (Drew), Alisha Scantlin, Melissa Maluegge (Shane), David Manthei, Kylie Russell and Eric Russell; and her great grandchildren, Pierce Ebben, Dillon Ebben and Asher Spanaus.
Longtime Merrill resident Donna Mae Eckerle died quietly in her sleep on November 3, 2023, after a years long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
