With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Duane Henry Bonke of Merrill, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Duane shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Duane farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bonke and Emma Bonke (Krueger); and his brother Robert Bonke. He is survived by: his wife June Bonke; his children, Douglas Bonke (Pamela Parent) and Deanna Slavinsky (John); his grandson Austin Laabs (Kayla Burrow); his sisters, Barbara Bonke and Lucille Eliason (Donald); and his daughter Rebecca Brown.
