He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Strasser and Pauline Strasser (Tobalski); his wife Barbara Wolff; and his siblings, Walter Strasser (Agnes), Albert Strasser Jr., Raymond Strasser (Regina), Joseph Strasser (Margie), George Strasser (Norma), Lawrence Strasser (Ethel), Dorothy Koppa (Prosper), Marie Leopold (Bill), Orville'Bud' Strasser (Priscilla 'Pat') and Lucille Strasser.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Gano (Mark) of Merrill, Allan Strasser (Cheryl) of Merrill, Ron Strasser of Merrill, Laurel Stine (Steve) of Merrill, Sally Schmidt (Thomas) of Merrill, Karen Wojciechowski (Randy) of Merrill, Teresa Schreiber (Mike) of Merrill, Jill Brady (Bob) of Merrill and Patricia Meyer of Merrill; and his grandchildren, Carrie, Steve, Leah, Jennifer, Kelly, Kristopher, Jodie, William, Joel, Melissa, Tyler, Adam, Jake, Robin, Ryan, Katie, Michael, Josh, Ashley, Lucus, Jordan, Amanda, Kimberly and Jesse. He is also survived by 44 great-grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; 17 step great-grandchildren; 2 step great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Merrill, or Bell Tower Residence, Merrill.
