He is survived by: his sons, Monte and John Drebenstedt; his grandson Ben Drebenstedt; his brothers, Ken and Vern Drebenstedt; and his niece Christine Walker (Evaristo Rodriguez Sanchez).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
