He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Meurett and Ellen Meurett (Jenks); his wife Mavis Meurett; his son Dean Meurett (Connie); his brothers, Burleigh'Burl' Meurette (Catherine 'Kate), James Meurett (June) and William'Willy' Meurett (Mary); his brothers-in-law, Wayne Mueller and Leonard'Len'Siegler; his nephews, Matthew Meurett, Michael Meurett and Chandler Schaffhausen; and his girlfriend Barbara Bakke.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Meurett (Pete Rynes) of Minneapolis and Dan Meurett (Lori) of Stevens Point; his grandchildren, Molly, Lilabel, Sarah, Jason, Satchel, Jake and Nathan; his great grandchild Josie; and his sisters, Susan Mueller of Minocqua and Sally Siegler of Wadena, MN..
