We are sad to announce that, on July 12, 2025, at the age of 85, Marilyn B. Kasten (Merrill, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Guenther and Etta Guenther; her husband Verland; her mother-in-law Clara Kasten; her brothers, William Guenther and Arnold; and her sister-in-law Loraine Doman.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen LeClaire (Phil); her stepchildren, Jane Jolly (Stan), Sharon Rezin (Craig), James Kasten (Karen) and Kenneth Kasten (Terry); her grandchildren, Rachel LeClaire, Marian LeClaire, Heather Kasten, Jason Kasten, Melissa Maurer (Scott), Helen Jolly (Bean), Matthew Rezin, Kim Kennedy (Scott), Brittany Rezin (Scott), Carolyn Gonzalez (David), Kate Bukowski (Dustin) and Megan Kasten; her great grandchildren, Emmalee, Terrick, Kaitlyn, Rhys, Ashlyn, Gabe, Asher, Addison, Madeleine, Miles, Rebecca, Verland (Lando), Beatrix (Trixie) and Westly; her sisters, Joyce TenHaken (Richard) and Carol Wilson (Rick); and her sister-in-law Barbara Guenther.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Bell Tower Campaign Fund, St. Mark's Lutheran Preschool or General Fund, The Humane Society or a charity of your choosing.
