She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Perkins; her sons, Gregory and William; her parents, Ben Hemmrich and Dena Hemmrich (Krause); and her siblings, Ruth Benson (John), Dorothy Wilund (Clarence), Adeline Peterson (William) and Frederick Hemmrich (Ginger).
She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Perkins of Merrill and Kate Perkins (Kent Archie) of Warrenville, IL; her granddaughters, Rachel and Madelaine Archie; and her sister-in-law Ginger Detlefsen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral & Cremation (301 Eagle Dr, Merrill, WI 54452). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (1708 E 10th St, Merrill, WI 54452). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery Memorial (1708 E 10th St, Merrill, WI 54452).
Memorial donations may be made in Marion's name to the St Francis Xavier Catholic School Scholarship Fund or to your local food pantry.
