She is survived by: her husband Michael Hommerding of Merrill; her sons, Robert Hommerding (Joyce) and Christopher Hommerding (Tina) of Merrill; her grandchildren, Nathanial, Ethan (Marisa) and Jesse; her great grandchildren, Oaklynn and Hayden; her brother Mike Burrows (Joy) of Merrill; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Detert of Merrill, Sue Wendt (Joel) of Merrill and Shirley Gremler of Merrill. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Penny's name to St. Stephens United Church of Christ – 903 E. Second St., Merrill, WI 54452.
