We bid farewell to Richard Bettin of Merrill, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Bettin and Hilda Bettin (Neumann); his wife Darlene Bettin; and his son-in-law Doug Meyer. He is survived by: his children, Renee Meyer (Jim Straus) of Harshaw and Ken Bettin (Sue) of Waukesha; his grandsons, Eric Meyer (Katie Kufahl) of Merrill, Dion Meyer (Amy Wetzelberger) of Louisville, KY, Jason Bettin (Maggie) of Waukesha and Keith Bettin (Julia) of West Bend, WI; and his great grandchildren, McKenna, Mason, Mya, Carter, Sienna, Landon, Keegan, Lily and Malayna. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephens United Church of Christ (903 E 2nd St, Merrill, WI 54452). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
