With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald W. Mootz Sr. of Merrill, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 10, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ronald leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mootz and Alice Mootz (Kanitz) of Merrill, WI.; and his brother Roger Mootz. He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Mootz Jr. As (Emilee) and Kim Landwehr (Ryan); his sister Mardell Pagel (Thomas); his sister-in-law Gay Mootz; and his grandchildren, Briah, Maci Landwehr, Maggie, Josie and Hank.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pagels Pub & Grub (139302 County Rd L, Athens, WI 54411).
