He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Iwen and Evelyn Iwen (Payne); his brother Reuben'Shorty' Iwen (Bonnie); and his in-laws, Francis Goodell, Art Drew, Lonnie Tanck, Margaret and Anton'Babe'Bennish.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Iwen of Merrill; his daughters, Angelina Anderson (Murray Frenette) of Dryden and Melissa Dettmering (Shawn McMahon) of Merrill; his grandsons, Bruce Anderson of Portland, Gunnar Anderson of Newport, Russell Dettmering of Merrill, Arin Dettmering (Erica Arneson) of Merrill and Andrew Dettmering of Merrill; his brother Roger Iwen (Jody) of Parrish; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Goodell of Rhinelander, Nancy Drew of Merrill, Darlene'Dolly'Tanck of Merrill and Karen Grund (Brian) of Merrill. He is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.
