He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Brubacher and Martha Brubacher (Tyson); his wife Margaretha "Grethie" Miller; his son Harold; his daughter-in-law Helen; his daughter Marilyn; his grandsons, Brent Cross and Timothy Walley; and his sisters, Carol Champion (William), Dora Reber (Bill), Fern Hertzler (Marvin), Velma Hoffman (Phil) and Donna Burrows.
He is survived by: his children, Agnes Cross (Charles) of Middlebury, IN, Sidney Brubacher Jr. (Jennifer) of Wausau, Jonathan Brubacher (JoAnn) of Marathon, Carolyn Brown (James) of Eureka, MO and Rosetta Brubacher (Mark Schulz) of Merrill; and his grandchildren, Charles "Duane" Cross (Verba), Glendon Cross (Nicole), Bernita Bredow (William), Romeo Brubacher, Thomas Walley (Kathy), Missy Brost (Jeff), Joshua Brubacher (Giana), Christian Steinke (Brittany), Simeon Brown (Nevruz), Jonathan Brown (Michalla), Elizabeth Waggoner (Logan), Ruth MacAdoo (Micah), Benjamin Brown (Sandra), Jacob Brown (Liana) and Lillian Brown.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Community Bible Church (118520 Fieldcrest Dr, Stratford, WI 54484). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
He spent their last years together, caring for Grethie as she declined from Alzheimer's disease.
