It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyla Schultz of Merrimac, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Pearson and Thaddeous Pearson; her husband Willis Delmar Schultz; and her children-in-law, Lori Lee Schultz (Ellis) and Gary Francis Caston.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Riegel (Robert), Glenn Schultz, Larry Schultz, Sara Schultz-Caston and Alvin Schultz (Tracy); her siblings, Rita Preuss, Ida Gannon and George Pearson (Faye); and her close friend Lorretta Corning. She is also survived by Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
