He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock Thompson and Iola "Mickey" Thompson (Canode); and his siblings, Gary, Neil, Dock Jr. "Tony", Gale and Tracie McClung.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rhinehart of Peter's Lutheran Church; his son Brett (Kathie); his grandsons, Trent (Maggie) and Clint; his great grandchildren, Adalynn, Reilynn and Brayden; his granddaughter Bobbi Lynn Dobratz (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Spenser and Richard; his granddaughter Teresa Krysa (Michael); his great grandchildren, Dr. Samantha Krysa (Derek Campos) and Sabrina Cochran (Tommy); his grandchild Eber (Kristy); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Mallory Roelke (Jacob) and Alison Klosiewski (Luke); his sisters, Alice Frosch (Tom) and Linda Greenheck (Ron); his in-laws, Lorraine Thompson, LaVonne Kamnetz, Barb Clark and Dan McClung; his godchildren, Julie Thompson, Kenda Taylor and Jeff Rhinehart; his caregivers, Jamie, Nikki, Katie and Kristy; and also, Linus, Gemma, Zeile and Giorgio. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Hooverson Funeral Home (251 Water St, Sauk City, WI 53583). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
