He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Schell and Marie Schell (Vance); his siblings, Shirley, Helen, Eddie, Donna, Bill, Tom, Dianna, Rob, Dean, Pat, Larry, Dick and Joe; and his parents-in-law, Clarence "Bud" Sr. and Margaret Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Candace Smith; his children, Charity Fuhrman (Albie) of Reedsburg, Christine Dunse (James) of Reedsburg, Ronald Jr. Schell (Tami) of Baraboo, Ryan Schell (Corinna) of Merrimac and Courtney Schell (Ron) of Baraboo; his grandchildren, Brook-Lynn Klaetsch (Adam), Nicholas Bauer (Carly Penshorn), Tyler Fuhrman (Deidre), Kyle Fuhrman (Kelly), Stephanie Dunse, Savanah Diske (Trent), Dylan Dunse (Abby Pynenberg), Grace, Ronald III, Cailynn, Carleigh, Cadence, Camryn Schell, Lilian and Lucas Schell; his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Wyatt Klaetsch, Eve Fuhrman, Olivia Fuhrman, Carson Dunse, Peyton Marshall, Taymen and Baby Gretta Diske; his brother Michael Schell (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Maggie Schell, Shari Schell, Cindy Harvey (Scott), Connie Powell, Clarice Flinn (Jerry), Cheryl Shanks (Ron), Renee Gebhard (Tim), Colleen Sorensen (Clayton), Jenny Halverson (Trent), Jackie Posthuma (Dan), Bill Smith (Tammy) and Jon Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
