In loving memory of Coletta C. Wagner of Middleton, Wisconsin, who departed this world on October 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Coletta leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Esser and Ida Esser (Haag); her husband Robert Wagner; her grandson Steven Hellenbrand; her siblings, Frances Garfoot, Joanne Doherty and Philip Esser; and her in-laws, Earl Garfoot, Joe Doherty, Delmer Zweifel, Marge Esser, Earl Maier, LaVerne Frey, Stanley Wagner, Ann Wagner and Father Donald Wagner.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hellenbrand (Mitch), Larry (Kristin), Nancy Laufenberg (John), Gary (Jessica) and Roger (Michelle); her grandchildren, Heather Carpenter (Torey), Kayla Kopp (Jordan), Kelli Markowski (Blair), Haley Laufenberg, Wyatt Wagner, Lukas Wagner (Whitney), Craig Wagner (Megan Collins), Ben Wagner, Cody Wagner, Brandon Wagner (Sarah) and Dakota Wagner (Asiana Brown); her great grandchildren, Grace, Lilian, Everett, William, Owen, Miles, Collins and Willow; her siblings, Doris Zweifel, Eugene Esser and Jim Esser (Esther); and her in-laws, Delores Esser, Evie Wagner, Helen Frey, Irene and Fritz Bindl.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (7121 Co Rd K, Middleton, WI 53562). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery (7121 Co Rd K, Middleton, WI 53562). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dorf Haus Supper Club (8931 County Hwy Y, Sauk City, WI 53583).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Brighton Hospice.
