It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Paul Duster (Middleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Duster and Zita Duster (Ferring); his sister Janice Paul (Carl); his cousin Jim DeLong Sr.; and his great-nephew Logan Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Megan Duster-Matz (Jesse Matz) and Matthew Duster (Rachael); his brothers, George Duster, Joseph Duster (Phyllis) and Dan Duster; and his grandchildren, Henry, Kaden, Victor, Aimee and Anabel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gunderson West Funeral & Cremation Care (7435 University Ave, Middleton, WI 53562). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 12:40 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to National Park Service or the Wounded Warrior Project.
