She was predeceased by: her husband Bob (Bob) of Little Chute; her parents, Henry Dercks and Nettie Dercks (Reynders); and her siblings, Nick, Robert, Thomas, Joseph, James Dercks, Barbara DeCoster, Gerri Truyman and Bernice Kray.

She is survived by: her children, Dr. Thomas Hartjes (Laurie), Dr. Bradley Hartjes (Susan), Valerie Hartjes, Dr. Joel Hartjes and Stacey Sanders (Mike); her grandchildren, Liz Hartjes (Will Monteith), Julia Hartjes (Ashwin Cadambi), Kristin Hartjes (Jason Breton), Michelle Murphy (Ben), Jennifer Hartjes (Emilio Rodriguez), Casey Grigg-Hartjes, Tyler Hartjes (Adrienne), Ellen Johnson (Jake), Nicholas, Benjamin, Margaret, Rebecca and Rachel Sanders; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Alex Monteith, Ava, Declan Murphy, Sawyer, Maverick Johnson and Willow Hartjes.
