It is with sadness that the passing of Mayra Ruth Tejera-Vollmar (Middleton, Wisconsin) is shared. Mayra, born on September 14, 1945, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Mayra will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Mayra by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Mayra is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Mayra’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginio Tejera and Ruth Maria Tejera (Galvez); her son Kurt Vollmar; and her brother Carlos Tejera. She is survived by: her sons, Kent Vollmar and Keith Vollmar; and her sister Marta Suarez (Otto). She is also survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gunderson Funeral and Cremation Care - Middleton (7435 University Ave, Middleton, WI 53562).
