He was predeceased by: his parents, Willam Maly and Josephine Maly (Kalscheur); his son William "Bill" Maly; his siblings, Julianna Meinholz (Ambrose), Anna Kessenich (Werner), Herbert Maly (Eleanor), Ethel Ballweg (Alfred), Roman Maly (Esther), Walter Maly (Evelyn), Rosina Ballweg (Herbert), Josephine Greiber (Leo), Viola Kaltenberg (Jim) and Antoinette "Neddy" Schuster (Gene); and his brothers-in-law, Fred Pertzborn and LaVerne Birrenkott.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine A. Birrenkott of Bernard's Catholic Church; his daughter Joanne Roudebush (Steve); his grandchildren, Tyler, Nicholas (Summer), Daniel (Abby) and Kayla Roudebush; his great grandchildren, Easton and Paisley Roudebush; his sister-in-law Valerie Birrenkott; Helene Pertzborn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
