He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Hamer and Edward Wedekind; and his sister Judy McDuffie. He is survived by: his sons, Alan Zimmerman of Cincinnati, Matt Hirsch (Katie) of Madison and Chris Stansbury (Abby) of Baraboo; and his sister Kathy Wilson of Baraboo. He is also survived by six granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
