She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyn C. Gray and Edyth Gray (Klavon); her husband Robert W. Townsend of John's Lutheran Church; her siblings, Garth, Curtis Gray and Madge Lohr; and her son-in-law Andrew Glen Jennings.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Jennings of Vero Beach, FL, Fredrick Townsend (Nancy) of Janesville, James Townsend (Janet) of Milton and Karin Miller (Jeffrey) of Milton; and her grandchildren, Sara Williams (Chad), Maria Kamphuis (Joost), Andrew Jennings, Michelle Anderson (Brian), Andrew Townsend (Johnna), Jonathan Townsend, Anthony Townsend (Fawn), Kai Miller, Nicole Miller (Jennifer) and Alexander Miller (Staci). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Henke-Clarson Funeral Home (1010 N Wright Rd, Janesville, WI 53546). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
