He was predeceased by: his parents, Amy Duffy of Blanchardville and Hjalmar Duffy; his wife Ruth Ann Duffy; his siblings, Eugene Duffy (Linda) of New Glarus and Lucille Duerst (Gerald) of Durand; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Yaeger and Larry Goecks.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Lazuli of North Carolina and Jayson Duffy (Michelle) of Janesville; his grandchildren, Samantha Staton, Maureen Staton, Travis Duffy, Alyssa Duffy and Adam Duffy; his sisters, Alice Yaeger of Mt. Horeb, Delores Larson (Don) of Belleville and Arlene Goecks of Blanchardville; and his siblings-in-law, John Oliver (Susan) of Melrose and Janet Oliver (Jeff Zwickey) of Galesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
