She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Swiggum and Gladys Swiggum (Parkhurst); her husband Walter; her brother Jerry; and her sisters-in-law, Irma Gilman and Marjorie Rice.

She is survived by : her sons, Mark (Kathy), Brad (Joan) and Walt; her granddaughter Sarah; and her sister-in-law Bernadine Appleman.
