She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond J. Button and Clara Button (Patzer); her husbands, Lewis Olson and Ivan K. Rice; her sons, Michael Olson and Mark Olson; her stepsons, James Rice (Gloria) and Randall Rice (Jackie) of Milton; her siblings, Forest Button and Elaine Zweifel; and her son-in-law Kelly Shadel.
She is survived by: her son Ray Olson of Janesville; her stepdaughters, Barbara Pickel (Eldon) of Kieler and Julie Shadel of Whitewater, WI.; and her grandchildren, Jessica Polzer (Tom), Justin Olson (Katrina), Erika Babcock (Scott), Lance Rice, Ryan Rice (Tina), Greg Olson (Erin), Kim Olson, Tom Pickel (Stacy), Lindsey Lyons (Jack), Billy Olson (Anna), Vanessa Collicott (Tony), Kirk Rice (Shalina), Molly Olson (Andy Brekken), Kelsey Shadel (Ryan Sandler) and Michael Shadel.
Joyce and her family request that in lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, contributions be made to Agrace Hospice Care and Edgerton Care Center.
