She was predeceased by: her brothers, Robert, Alfred, Richard and Thomas Torcivia; and her parents, Margaret Torcivia and Alfred Torcivia.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas; her sons, Kurt F. Pokrandt and William L. Pokrandt; her granddaughter Hannah; her daughter Karen Schaeffer (Matthew); her brother Joseph Torcivia (Mary Jo); and her sister-in-law Mary Jane Torcivia (Alfred). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Milwaukee Art Museum are welcomed in recognition of Barbara's lifelong support of the arts.
