She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Janis and Cecelia Janis; her brother-in-law Orville; and her niece Pamela. She is survived by: her husband John Francis Cherney; her children, Kevin Cherney (Katie) and Michelle O'Brien (Mark); and her sister-in-law Gladys Metzler (Marty). She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, five step-grandchildren, and many friends.
