She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald H. Beier and Margaret Beier (Erdman). She is survived by: her husband Norman Hopfensperger of Shawano; her children, Sarah (Steven) of Shawano, Jennifer (Keith) of Shawano and Paul (Kari) of Shawano; her grandchildren, Cody, Alexander, Sean (Niki), Macie, Drake, Tela and Trey; her great grandchildren, Gracie and Delaney; her siblings, Dr. Sue Hanratty (Patrick) of LaCrosse and Gary (Kathrine) of New Berlin; and her siblings' children, Todd, Jeffrey and Elyse.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated as Barbara advocated for this disease during her years of social work.
