She was predeceased by: her husband Michael P. Spalda. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Ellen and Bill Kolanko (Chris); her nieces and nephews, Holly Delgado (David), Nick Kolanko (Michele), Angie Mamayek (Ted) and Emmy Kolanko (Enrique); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mona, Lucy, Frankie, Bo, Clark, Alex and John; her close friend Mary Borman (late Jerry); her nephew Michael Borman (Ann); her nieces, Betsy Deakin (Scott) and Carolyn Caspari (Brad); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alan, Matthew, Thomas Deakin, Robert and Christopher Caspari. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

She was also very active in various social justice and service ministries, including St. Ben's Meal Program and the Milwaukee Ladies of Charity organization.
