It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Richard Thomas (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 26, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Bruce shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bruce farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his close friend Karen Davis. He is survived by: his children, Erin (Grace) and Sam; his children-in-law, Kevin and Kristen; and his granddaughters, Aderyn and Lillian.
In lieu of flowers or gifts in Bruce's honor, friends can make a donation to the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute in support of the "the Holding Circle" program which focuses on bringing therapy into schools and of which Bruce was one of the founders; https://chicagoanalysis.org.
