He was predeceased by: his sister Hildegarde; and his brother-in-law Howard. He is survived by: his wife Inga Schara; his children, Jeffrey Schara (Julie), Andrew Schara (Michelle) and Donna Ziel (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Jamie (Jacob Harlow), Jacob Schara, Alexander, Olivia Schara, Wesley and Avaline Ziel. He is also survived by other loving relatives, and friends.
