He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his sister Lucinda Herman (James); his sister-in-law Aida Cruz (Freddy); and his pet Kate. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Mielke and Barbara Mielke; mother-in-law Carmen Donate; father-in-law Luis Donate Sr; and brother-in-law Luis Donate Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
