Claudia M. Spaulding Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Claudia M. Spaulding (Milwaukee, Wisconsin). Claudia, born on May 28, 1937, passed away on July 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" Spaulding; her parents, Claude Thelen and Virginia Thelen; her grandparents, Albert and Agnes Thelen; her son-in-law Tim Griswold; her grandsons, Clint Griswold and Nathan Spaulding; and her great grandchild Randol Wessel.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Williams, Nancy Voboril, Ellen LeVeque, Carol Van Blarican, Paula Taylor and Bert Thelen (S. J. We); and her children, Richard Spaulding (Monica), Robert Spaulding (Karen), Randol Spaulding (Amy), Renee Griswold (late Tim), Ronald Spaulding (Clare) and Rodney Spaulding (Susan). She is also survived by her 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, Claudia requested that memorial donations be made to the St. Camillus Jesuit Community or to St. Bernadette Parish (https://st-bernadette-curbsidedinner.square.site)—two communities that were so deeply woven into her life of faith.
