He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Askin and Jane Askin (Clougherty). He is survived by: his wife Zsuzsanna Dorko; his son Timothy Askin (Ryan Roney); his stepchildren, Orsolya Erdelyi and Szabolcs Erdelyi; and his siblings, Thomas, Jr. (Jan), Maureen (Brian Lovell), Carolyn Franz (Earl) and Richard (Heidi). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
