He was predeceased by: his parents, Evaldo Pietro and Armida Di Pietro; his sister Mary Ann Sweers; and his nephew Chad Schlaikowski. He is survived by: his siblings, Edward Di Pietro, Joseph Di Pietro (Kathleen), Catherine Di Pietro, Susan Hessel (William), Charles Di Pietro, Dorice Unertl (Todd) and Christine Mickelson (Dave); and his siblings' children, Antonio, Connie, Edward, Angela, Christine, Brad, Melissa, Andrew, Rebecca, Marcus, Lila, Julianna and Garrett.
