He is survived by: his wife Linda (Nee Sawdy); his daughter Sarah Hagen (Brian); his father LeRoy Eichhorst; and his siblings, Terry, Dawn, Debra Rehn (Scott), Dale (MiSook), Cheryl Monical (Randy), Denise Rubanka and Dennis Eichhorst. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, a memorial in memory of David can be made to the Milwaukee Art Museum.
