He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathleen; his daughter Jenna Loise (Dominic); his sister Bonnie Schmitt (Michael); and his siblings-in-law, John Kozlik (Brandi Fitzgerald) and Marianne Jonides (Daniel). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project appreciated.
